Transport, mobility and digital twins

Digital twins have the potential to radically de-risk and accelerate experimentation and innovation across multiple layers of the UK's economy and society.

In this techUK webinar, we will be exploring the extent to which digital twins are driving transformational advances across the UK's transport mobility infrastrcuture, seeking to identify the most thought-provoking pockets of digital twin convergence and barriers to digital twin adoption.

More specifically, this webinar will touch on the feasibility of using upper ontologies, reference data libraries and integration architectures to drive digital twin integration in the transport sector, the skills needed to scale up the deployment of transport-focused digital twins, the social and economic prizes on offer, commercial and legal barriers, and on the fundamental research and innovation infrastructure needed to realise effective, systems-level transport digital twins long-term.
