Using AI in support of Ministry of Defence Tender and Bid analysis

The Commercial X team will engage with suppliers of AI to present an opportunity to get involved in the streamlining of MOD bid analysis.

Session overview

The Ministry will present its intention to develop an AI Evaluator to support and optimise tender and bid analysis for Ministry of Defence run competitions. The session will be an opportunity for industry to understand the Ministry's current problem set and discuss how AI can be used to relieve human evaluators, increase the number of proposals that can be reviewed, and save time and resources, whilst maintaining human oversight and decision making.

Early stages will be self-funded using MoD environments and knowledge sources, under a Collaborative Working Innovation Contract.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A and discussion with the presenters, made up of Commercial resources from the Ministry's Commercial X. Whilst technical capabilities and potential can be discussed, more in depth technical queries should be sent via email for a later follow up by a subject matter expert.

This is a chance to discuss the opportunities and capabilities of building AI into the evaluation process, whilst drawing out any concerns or risks.
