BDUK: Market Engagement Session 2 - Contractual T&Cs

BDUK - Outside In Market Engagement Events - June

The Future Telecoms Infrastructure Review (FTIR) identifies the Government policy objective and the overall strategy for delivering world class digital infrastructure in the UK. In October, the Chancellor set out plans to invest £5bn to support the investment into gigabit capable connectivity in the hardest to reach 20% of the country. Building Digital UK (BDUK) is the directorate within DCMS responsible for running this programme.

BDUK is carrying out a series of market engagement events with Suppliers interested in providing gigabit capable connectivity under a new BDUK State aid funded programme. The procurements under this programme will target the premises least likely to benefit from commercial build, in line with our FTIR policy objectives and validated with network operators.

These next events will build on the information given to the market in February, providing further detail around the procurement process and contractual terms and conditions.

The aim of these events is to inform the market and potential bidders about the programme, create awareness of the future requirements of the ‘Outside In’ programme and to seek feedback on key areas of the approach to assist BDUK with its design and development.

BDUK will hold this event virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions. Once you have signed up via the Eventbrite form, we will send you an email with details of how to join. The session will be presentation based with a number of breaks between agenda items when questions can be submitted.
