Beyond Early Adopters: Open Banking That Works For All

Open banking has the potential to shift the power balance and transform the landscape of financial services. Consumers stand to collectively gain £12bn per year, through products that are closely tailored to their needs. However, achieving this transformation depends on adoption of open banking at scale – by both consumers and innovators.

Nesta Challenges, in partnership with Open Banking Limited, is launching the Open Up Challenge, a £1.5 million prize fund to support and reward game-changing products and services that could lead the breakthrough in consumer adoption of open banking.

Join us to celebrate the launch and hear a panel of industry experts tackle the big questions:

- How can the great ideas gain the trust and traction they need to take off?

- How can new services create competitive advantage from best practice in consumer data and transparency?

- How can open banking widen markets and serve the cause of financial inclusion?

- What are the business models that will capitalise on the open banking opportunity?

Speakers Include:

Dave Birch - Author, Advisor and Commentator on Financial Services (Chair)

Andrea Reynolds - CEO and Founder, Swoop

Faith Reynolds - Independent Consumer Expert

Plus more speakers to be announced.

Registration will open at 18:00, with the event starting promptly at 18:30. The event will finish at 19:30 followed by drinks and networking until 21:00.
