Twelve impressive Welsh tech businesses have been invited onto Wales’ first tech accelerator programme, culminating in an afternoon showcase at the London Stock Exchange where investors get to see eight of the most promising start-ups and scale-ups across Prop-Tech, FinTech, Ed-Tech and Data Security pitch for investment and demo their products.

Wales is home to the first compound semi-conductor cluster in the world where Cardiff-based IQE leads the global sector with its wafer technology expected to power Apple’s next iPhone.
