On 20 October 2016 08:00am-10:00am techUK will be presenting its Cloud Business Guide for Business Leaders in Newcastle, in partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses, alongside cloud computing service providers to answer all your cloud computing questions! A breakfast will also be supplied by the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (NELEP).
There are many benefits to be gained from moving to the cloud including greater scalability, efficiency, flexibility and mobility. However it can often be a daunting process with many different options available and small businesses naturally have some concerns.
techUK has developed the Cloud Business Guide for Business Leaders, along with techUK’s Cloud 2020 Vision, with its members to offer advice to small business leaders as to how they should approach the first steps on their cloud journey. It helps businesses identify which cloud deployment model and service model is right for them and also provides a checklist of questions any business leader should ask a potential cloud provider before taking up their services.
The event will take place at SME Centre for Excellence, Newcastle College, Rye Hill Campus, Scotswood Road, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE4 7SA.
At the event delegates will hear from techUK who will present the guide and there will be cloud providers talking about the benefits of cloud and will be able to answer any questions you might have. A free copy of the guide will also be available.
Confirmed speakers include:
- David Aspindle, Head of Sales and Marketing, MDS Technologies
- Jeremy Lilley, Programme Manager Cloud, Big Data & Analytics, techUK
- Richard Stinton, EMEA Solutions Architect, iland Cloud Services Provider
- Colin Bell, Business Growth Director, North East Local Enterprise Partnership
