Partnering & Networking: Growing the Local GovTech Market

This speed networking event offers tech companies large and small the opportunity to network and identify business partners with innovative solutions for transforming local public services, from new players to established companies within the Local Government tech market. We are also encouraging digital folk working in Local Government to join us to pitch about what they’re after from the market and give them exposure to the latest innovative tech solutions.

It is an opportunity for SMEs to pitch ideas to companies currently providing services to local government, and for large companies to expand the network of SMEs they work with to deliver services in this market.

We are delighted to welcome Ricky Morton Digital and Transformation Adviser, London Borough of Newham who will be opening the event and sharing Newham's digital transformation journey and pipeline. Harrow Council's Children Services will also be pitching as they are looking for a partner to develop and scale their digital ambition.

The event is part of techUK’s commitment to grow the local government digital eco-system by offering SMEs the opportunity to network, share ideas and identify future business partners.

How it Works:

Large Companies: Provide an overview of how you engage with SMEs and why SMEs are important to delivering services to the Public Sector

SMEs: Your opportunity to pitch! We suggest you cover who you are, your innovation/service/product and what you're looking for in working with larger companies. Remember, you only have 2 minutes!
