SNOMED CT Briefing and Workshop - Leeds

NHS Digital and techUK would like to invite you to discuss the lessons learned in transitioning General Practice to SNOMED CT and how these can be applied to mental health.

The event will take place on Thursday 22 November 2018, 10:00am to 1:00pm in Leeds City Centre (venue to be confirmed).

This event is a replication of one held at techUK in London on 21 September 2018, where valuable lessons learned from the primary care sector were shared. We would like as many of you as possible to have a chance to engage with us on this subject to help inform your future plans, which is why we have chosen to rerun a northern event.

Event Overview:
By 1 April 2020 mental health and other systems must use SNOMED CT as their clinical terminology.

The event will cover:

  • our experience on implementing SNOMED CT with the primary care sector
  • an overview about SNOMED CT and dispel any myths around the standard
  • what support trusts and suppliers can access
  • an open discussion about current challenges to meet the standard

Before registering please check the event is relevant to your organisation and area of work.
