CoPaCC has recently conducted its second annual survey of police officers from all UK forces, assessing their views on the provision of technology to the police. This event shall explore the results of the survey, and discuss what insights for suppliers the findings reveal.
Date: 8th October 2018
Time: 15:00 – 16:30 + Drinks
Venue: techUK, 10 St Bride Street, London EC4A 4AD
Over the past few years police forces across the country have been making advances in their use of technology in order to better serve the public. At this event CoPaCC will publish the results of their second annual survey of police officers from 44 police forces across England, Scotland and Wales.
The survey results provide a unique insight into the views of the front-line on the provision of tech in their force. The granular detail of the findings makes it a rich resource for those interested in the police ICT market.
Come along to this event to hear the headline results of the survey, and they mean for suppliers. Steve White, the former Chair of the Police Federation, will then share his thoughts and reflections on the results, and will speak about the Frontline Review he is conducting for the Home Office.
The survey was made possible by the active participation of the Police Federation of England and Wales, along with the Superintendents’ Associations of England & Wales and Scotland. Policing Insight is now working with techUK and the Police Federation to explore how the voice of the front line can be heard more audibly in the police technology community.
This event is ideal for any companies currently supplying to the police, or looking to enter the market, who want to improve their understanding of how end users view their force’s provision of technology.
The aim is to help those who are looking to enter the policing market (or who are supplying to a few Forces but need to know how to expand into the others) get a better understand of the landscape, and how to navigate it.
The event will be followed by a drinks reception.
