APPG for Broadband and Digital Communication
The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Broadband and Digital Communication seeks to further the rollout of broadband in rural and urban areas, and to look at digital communication across the UK. Secretariat is provided by techUK, the trade association that brings together people, companies and organisations to realise the positive outcomes that digital technology can achieve.
A new inquiry has been launched by the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Broadband and Digital Communication into how reforms to the Electronic Communications Code could help boost the deployment of full-fibre broadband in rural and urban areas across the UK. The inquiry will seek to understand how the Code could be practically reformed by Government, to help the UK’s broadband builders meet the target of 85% gigabit-capable coverage by 2025. Have your say.
The APPG for Broadband and Digital Communication is chaired by Selaine Saxby, MP for North Devon. You can get in touch with Selaine via the contact details on the UK Parliament website.
