Civil Servants Survey
techUK’s annual Civil Servants Survey gives an insight into the trends, views and ideas that are shaping how public servants engage with technology. From understanding the rationale for digital transformation to identifying the barriers to its progress, the Survey sheds light on how the public sector is changing the way that it design, builds and procures the products and skills necessary to deliver tech-enabled public services.
techUK’s Civil Servants Survey was originally commissioned to inform our Three Point Plan for Transforming Public Services. The plan, put together by techUK members comprised of both large and small tech suppliers, is designed to bring more industry expertise and knowledge into Government and make it a more demanding customer.
Civil Servants, Industry and citizens all have a stake in building smarter, cheaper and better public services. We hope that our research will provide a solid foundation for us to work together to ensure that the public sector is taking advantage of the exciting innovation happening in Britain's thriving tech sector.
