Owen Spottiswoode

Owen is Head of Public Services and is responsible for coordinating techUK's work across Central and Local Government, Health and Social Care, and Justice and Emergency Services. He works closely with the Public Services Board to manage strategic relationships between members and stakeholders and to ensure that techUK’s voice resonates in Government.

Before joining techUK in December 2016, Owen helped to found Hometrics, a data consultancy working in the property sector, and Full Fact, an award-winning NGO that works to make politics more accurate, transparent and accountable. He has a background in journalism having previously worked for the Guardian and Foresight News, a national news agency.

Owen holds an MA(Oxon) from Oxford University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Economics from the University of London.
