Ashish Kumar Gupta is Corporate Vice President, at HCL Technologies. Under his leadership HCL has grown at a CAGR of over 20% to become one of the more successful IT Services Providers in Europe.

Ashish’s career has been focussed on starting new businesses propositions and making these successful across India, the US and since 2005 in Europe and Middle East and Africa for HCL. Amongst the biggest of them was the conceptualization and execution of Remote Infrastructure Management Services that eventually led to the success of a Indian IT firms in large IT Outsourcing Contracts and HCL achieving a dominant leadership position in that industry. This Industry is estimated by McKinsey-NASSCOM to be $30bn by 2020 for the Indian IT Industry alone and HCL derives almost 3.2 bn$ globally from this service.

Ashish is widely respected as one of the more disruptive voices in the IT Outsourcing, Cloud and Digital space in Europe. He has spoken at many prestigious Industry platforms and continues to drive thought leadership for HCL and the IT industry at large. He is passionate about the impact of Technology on Society and Skills and how technology businesses have a duty to educate and enable people to adapt to a technology pervasive world.

An engineering graduate with a management degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Ashish lives in London with his wife and two daughters. He likes reading, hiking and disruption in business models.

He is passionate about contributing to society with organisation’s like the Prince’s Trust in the UK. Ashish also has a NGO “Dharkan Unlimited” through which he impacts projects close to his and his family’s heart.
