On 11 September, join techUK and the RAF for the re-arranged RAF100 Industry Dinner

techUK is proud to be an industry partner for the RAF100 initiative in 2018. The RAF100 initiative will celebrate 100 years of the RAF with a range of events, challenges, competitions, and other engagements throughout 2018. As part of the year’s celebrations techUK will be hosting the RAF100 Centenary Dinner on the 11 September 2018 at the Imperial War Museum with special guest speaker Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Hillier, Chief of the Air Staff, RAF.

This event had previously been postponed on the 1st March due to inclement weather. Additional space has been acquired at the venue, if you are now interested in attending please follow the 'book now' link to the techUK portal to secure your place.

ACM Sir Stephen will talk about the proud history of the RAF, the significance of the events in the year ahead, and how the RAF is looking towards the next hundred years of world leading air capability. The event will provide an ideal opportunity for industry to meet key MOD and Government stakeholders in the UK Defence, technology, and aviation industries, and enjoy an evening of celebrating the accomplishments of the RAF.

techUK will continue to support RAF100 initiatives throughout the year and beyond. This includes a number of engagements across the UK bringing together MOD, industry and the public to highlight the vast potential of the UK’s aviation and technology industries. A key focus of RAF100 is the Inspire stream which will increasingly look forward to the next 100 years of the RAF, discussing how air capability will develop in the coming decades and how digital technologies will support the evolution of the RAF. These engagements will include a static aircraft and STEM tour of the UK, including cities in each region, and an RAF100 engineering competition, both with a strong focus on bringing through young talent and skills across the UK which will be the foundation of the next 100 years of world leading UK air capability.
