The Data Protection Bill will receive its Second Reading in the House of Commons on Monday 5 March 2018. 

The Bill is an incredibly important piece of legislation, updating the UK's data protection framework in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and is a crucial part of preparing the UK for brexit negotiations and agreeing an adequacy agreement with the EU.
