New Central Government Council Members Announced

techUK is delighted to announce the new Council members that will lead our Central Government Programme.


The Central Government Council brings together leaders from across the tech industry and will deliver an ambitious programme of activity between techUK and central government.


The overall aims of the Central Government Council are to:


• Promote better engagement between the tech sector and Government to support civil servants deliver the Government Transformation Strategy and Industrial Strategy
• Provide leadership and support on techUK’s campaigns and projects to reform public sector procurement
• Promote and evangelise the transformative role tech can play in public services


Tom McCann, Central Government Director, Sopra Steria and Chair of the Central Government Council commented:
