Tech and Telecoms Job Opportunities in DCMS

Want to work at the heart of Government on tech, digital and telecoms policy?

The Digital and Media Group in DCMS is the heart of the Government's strategic policymaking and industry engagement on all things relating to tech, digital and telecoms. We have teams working on some of the most interesting, challenging and important areas for the UK economy: the tech sector is worth £118bn a year, and growing three times as fast as the rest of the economy. And we're recruiting!

We have lots of roles currently available to external applicants, as well as existing Civil Servants, across our Digital and Tech Policy and Telecoms teams. In these roles, you will be at the heart of DCMS's ambition to develop a world-leading digital economy that works for everyone, with a focus on securing the best deal for the UK and supporting international trade as we prepare to leave the European Union.

A range of exciting senior policy adviser roles at Band A (Grade 7) can be found here and those at Band B (HEO/SEO) can be found here. The deadline for these recruitment campaigns is 18 June.

You don't have to be a tech expert for any of these roles but we'd expect a lively interest in the potential of digital technologies to grow the economy and transform society. Experience of working in, or with, the sector would also be an asset; and we have a great track record of bringing people in from industry.

If potential applicants want to find out more about the opportunities, and what life is like working foir DCMS, there are more details and contacts in the application packs.
