The Business Intelligence working group

The techUK Business Intelligence working group is set up to provide a high level strategic forum to discuss matters of industry-wide interest to members. It brings together techUK's senior leaders from member companies with an interest in business intelligence in health and social care. With participating companies from across a number of health and social care sectors it provides the collective industry voice on improving and developing Government and NHS policies and regulatory issues.

The main purposes of the group are:

  • develop informed industry positions on key regulatory matters and provide constructive engagement with official decision makers
  • influence government bodies on issues of importance to the BI supplier community
  • facilitate sharing of knowledge and interactions between health and social care stakeholders, and
  • provide industry thought leadership on technology and market development

The forum meets on an ad hoc basis and is attended by about 30 member companies ranging from the large to the small. New topics for discussion are always welcome.
