Building Bristol’s Trust in the Security of the Cloud

On Wednesday 28 February from 10:00 - 12:00, techUK will holding a workshop at Filwood Green Business Park in Bristol to offer business leaders information and practical advice to better understand the security underpinning cloud computing and the benefits to fully embracing the cloud.

This event, held in partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), follows the publication of a series of papers, Building Trust in the Security of Cloud, which provide consumers, SMEs and local government leaders with guidance to help leaders feel empowered to ask the right questions and make the right choices when considering a move to the Cloud.

At the event delegates will hear from techUK who will present details from the cloud security papers including what cloud computing is, how cloud can be used to deliver real benefits, how to consider what information to share with the cloud and techUK’s ‘Cloud ABC’ guide of questions to ask potential cloud and cyber security providers.

In addition leading cloud service and cyber security experts will outline the current benefits of cloud and will be able to answer any cloud security questions you might have. A free copies of techUK’s, Building Trust in the Security of Cloud, will also be available to all attendees.
