Healthcare UK Event: Access India - Focus on Healthcare and Lifesciences

Healthcare UK is pleased to announce an exclusive event covering the considerable opportunities available to UK businesses as a result of the recently launched ‘Access India Programme’ (AIP). This is a flagship initiative of the High Commission of India in London and has been formed to encourage and assist UK SMEs to access the Indian market.

AIP is a market entry support programme which aims to assist, without charge, small and medium-sized companies in the UK in trade and collaboration with India. The High Commission of India in London is supported by UK India Business Council as the official Knowledge Partner for this programme.

While we encourage companies across the sectors, we would particularly welcome UK-based organisations with an offer in the following areas:

  • Innovative digital health including technologies such as AI, AR/VR, IoT and Big Data.
  • Advanced diagnostics and point of care testing using technologies such as genomics and image analytics
  • Development of Biosimilar / Gene therapy for Oncology, Diabetes, Hypertension and Immunology. This may involve collaboration with Indian pharma around co-development and technology transfer to India.

This event is being organised in association with Indo UK Institute of Health Medicity Programme (IUIH). The Indo UK Institute of Health Medicity Programme is one of the world’s largest healthcare programmes supported by the Indian and the UK Governments aimed at developing 11 NHS quality hospitals across India having 11,000 hospital beds. The Programme provides UK based SMEs partnership opportunities in Medical Devices and Supplies, Information Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Technology, hospitality, logistics, warehousing etc.

We look forward to welcoming you on the day.
