During the missions you will be able to meet and network with local companies and commercial officers within the Technology sector while also learning about upcoming opportunities to export your product. <br><br>From 22 &ndash; 23 October up to 50 UK companies will take part in a mission to Singapore with a series of events aimed at promoting the UK&rsquo;s capabilities within Cyber Security, Smart Cities and Health Tech sectors. <br><br>The mission itinerary will take place at PwC Offices Marina One in Singapore with a series of activities including business matchmaking and themed lunch talks taking place over the course of the two days. There will also be a Tech Mission Evening Networking Reception on the Monday, offering companies the opportunity to network with local companies, commercial officers and potential partners. <br><br>A bespoke mission to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia will take place from 24 (PM) to 25 October. Day two will consist of a series of pitching sessions to selected key clients of Telekom Malaysia drawn from the above industries, seeking integrated solutions, incorporating IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Cyber Security and Fintech. Applicant companies will be screened by Telekom Malaysia prior to acceptance on the mission.</p> <p>The participation fee&nbsp;for the Singapore Mission is &pound;600, and for the Malaysia Mission is &pound;880. The target sectors include Smart Cities, Fintech, Cyber Security, AI and IoT.</p> <p>Participation is open to both SBJBC members and non-members, but will be restricted to a maximum of 25 delegates. Companies will be invited to register interest shortly, but an early bird opportunity to confirm interest is now available. If you would like to take this up,&nbsp;<a href="">please click here to register.</a></p> <p>With high demand for digital services and the recent launch of Saudi Fintech and e-government initiatives, Saudi Arabia hosts the largest ICT market in the region. More young people and increasingly women are starting their own businesses. A number of smart city initiatives have been launched in the buildings, transport, parking, communications and environmental sectors, and a futuristic new city NEOM has been unveiled. Saudi Arabia is keen to access innovative UK expertise and investment. The Saudi SME Authority is leading efforts to improve the business environment for SMEs, and support both start-ups and scale-ups. This is therefore an excellent time for UK companies, funds and advisers to engage.</p> <p>The plan is to spend two days in Jeddah (18-19 November) and&nbsp;two days in Riyadh (20-21 November). The programme is currently being developed, but will include meetings with key industry and governmental stakeholders, including SAGIA, Saudi SME Authority, SABIC and the Ministry of Communications and IT. We will also meet with some of the innovation hubs who attended the SME Forum, including King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Wadi Makkah Company and King Saud University.</p> <p>The delegation will be led by Chris Innes-Hopkins, SBJBC UK Executive Director, who has extensive public and private sector experience of the country. Saudi SBJBC members and investors will be involved, and the mission has the support of SAGIA and the DIT.</p> <p>We will levy a modest programme management fee (with discounts for SBJBC members and SMEs). The partnership brings together business, government and civil society from both India and the UK to tackle shared challenges (across energy, skills, ease of doing business and financial services) and deliver mutual prosperity by nurturing entrepreneurship, securing jobs and growth for the future.
