The Barclays Developing Resilience Award

It has never been more important for UK businesses to help SMEs be more resilient; thereby creating shared growth between businesses and communities. The Barclays Developing Resilience Award will recognise projects or initiatives run by businesses that, in terms of both scale and longevity, are making a lasting positive impact on the resilience of both the SMEs and the communities with whom they operate and rely on for future prosperity.

The Barclays Developing Resilience Award has a two-fold objective:

  • To recognise businesses who support small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) to be more resilient - helping them prepare for, respond to and recover from cyber-crime, floods and storms, fire and other business disruptions beyond their control
  • To recognise where helping businesses to become more resilient can have a beneficial impact on the wider community and how that impact is applied
