This group is a techUK wide group which convenes quarterly to discuss and ensure compliance with the energy and environmental regulations.

The TV manufacturers participate alongside other sectoral representations to discuss and, wherever possible, influence DECC and Defra on energy regulation such as The Eco design directive, and their supporting regulations.

The main purpose of this group is:

  • To keep the TV Manufacturers informed with the energy and environmental emissions regulations

  • To coordinate UK Industry effort to resist wherever possible unnecessarily unhelpful legislation
