Join techUK and the NCSC for the Defence & Cyber Summer Dinner hosted at King's Place, on 27 June

We are excited to announce that the techUK Defence & Cyber Security Programmes are collaborating to bring our members an evening with a senior National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) stakeholder.

The NCSC is the UK's authority on cyber security, providing a one-stop shop for Government, businesses and consumers to receive guidance on cyber security. As part of the Government’s new National Cyber Security strategy, the NCSC will be a critical asset in the UK’s evolving national security climate. According to Robert Hannigan, the Director of GCHQ, the centre will show “that the UK is focusing its efforts to combat the threats that exist online and ensure that Government agencies and industry collaborate to keep the UK safe.

Our senior keynote speaker will address dinner guests about the role of the NCSC and the strategic threats that faces the UK's critical national infrastructure. They will also speak about the opportunities for industry to collaborate with the NCSC and the numerous initiatives that encourage SME engagement. The evening will be an excellent networking opportunity for members of our defence and cyber security programmes, and a great opportunity to catch up with industry and NCSC colleagues.
