Minimising the impact of incidents – whether from cyber-attacks, power cuts or hardware failure

Minimising the impact of incidents – whether from cyber-attacks, power cuts or hardware failure – is a key objective of the NIS Regulation. Understanding and managing the security risks to networks and information systems from dependencies on external suppliers is an important part of that.

In the modern business environment, third party suppliers are involved at every level of organisations, from IT managed services, cloud or data centre infrastructure through to security staff, call agents and contract engineers. Understanding your requirements and how to mitigate the risks within your supply is crucial.

Our event will look to introduce the NIS Regulation, help to clarify the what an Operator of Essential Services (OES) is and how to secure your supply chain. This is a great opportunity to get a step ahead in your compliance.

This event will be most appropriate for those working in a Risk, Compliance or Security function and are at a decision making level or can influence key buying decisions.

Speakers include:

Ewan Duncan - Group Head of Security at Associated British Ports

Ian Davis - Head of Information security at Gemserv
