Data Centre Risk Radar - Technical Skills Shortage

Data Centre Risk Radar

Sponsored by

Like many engineering and technology disciplines, the data centre sector struggles to recruit enough technical staff and Brexit is likely to make this situation worse, not better, at least in the short term. So the industry needs to meet its immediate skills needs but we also need to ensure that we are developing enough domestic talent to keep us going in the long term. Presenting the sector as a career destination of choice, supporting the adoption of STEM skills in schools, smoothing the pathway to professional development and career enhancement, and making the sector appeal to women will all help. This free session will explore the technical skills landscape, provide analysis of the most intractable issues for operators and identify relevant initiatives and potential solutions.

A more detailed agenda will be available shortly. In the meantime, you can register by clicking on 'book now' button.
