techUK was proud to host a brand new conference for 2018. ‘Cyber in the Digital Economy’ was a one day conference hosted on 17 May, that provided attendees with the latest practical guidance and advice on how to stay secure in a connected world.

Cyber security is the cornerstone of our digital economy; securing everything from connected devices to payments online. With high profile cyber-attacks continuing to dominate the news, and upcoming data protection and cyber security regulation due to be introduced this year, this conference focussed on:

• The progress of the Government’s National Cyber Security Strategy and National Cyber Security Centre
• Cyber security regulatory and compliance requirements
• Emerging cyber threats to our digital economy.

The event brought together over 100 business leaders across a variety of sectors including financial services, retail and energy.
