Thomas Goldsmith

Thomas is a Policy Manager for Brexit and Trade at techUK. He is responsible for techUK’s approach to the negotiations on Britain’s exit from the European Union. He also looks after policy on post-Brexit trade deals and how they can best deliver for the UK tech sector.

Prior to joining techUK, Thomas was a Policy Adviser at the Royal Society. There he worked on programmes on Science & the Future of Trade and investment in UK research. He also helped develop the Research and Innovation Talent Visa.

Thomas has a Masters in Modern British History and a PhD on British foreign policy from the University of East Anglia.
