Kate is an informatics professional with over 14 years’ experience in both the public and private healthcare sectors, globally and within the UK and for the past four years, has worked as a strategist within Population Health at Cerner. Kate works with a team dedicated to transforming clinical and operational outcomes for healthcare clients using information, knowledge and technology.
Kate is focused on supporting clients to do things differently – currently working with NHS vanguard sites and developing new models of care with the goal of improving performance and outcomes for the wider health economy. Kate brings a rounded view to the council through extensive experience working with a broad range of clients including NHS acute trusts, commissioners and third sector providers, and across a variety of disciplines including large-scale software implementations and bespoke data analytics.
Prior to Cerner, Kate worked in consultancy at Tribal, focused on health informatics and has also held an international business development role at GE Healthcare, working across the UK and the Middle East, and a consulting role at WCI, working with various Trusts on solution compliance against national reporting requirements.
