Adrian Flowerday is Managing Director of UK SME Docobo Ltd, and a Chartered Engineer with over 30 years of experience developing technology based solutions for areas including radar, sonar, imaging and medical.
Docobo was formed in 2001 to develop and market doc@HOME>®, a telehealth platform enabling healthcare staff to manage patients with long term conditions in their own homes. Adrian has directed the development of the system as a qualified medical device, and developed the business offering to enable such a new concept to be successfully rolled out into mainstream practice within the NHS and other international healthcare systems. The experience gained in developing systems to support predominantly elderly patients has enabled Docobo to understand the wider needs of an ageing population, resulting in our soon to be launched BeTogether™ solution, aimed at supporting independence and overcoming social isolation, in addition to supporting the delivery of healthcare
Adrian has successfully lead the UK introduction of COMCARE, which is a proven and in use community health and social care client management system developed by and for the largest provider of health and social care in Western Australia.
Adrian has also developed the business internationally resulting in doc@HOME> being implemented in Australia, NZ, Brazil, China and several EU states. Adrian was also Chairman of the techUK Telehealth Group until it merged with the Healthcare Group in Feb 2012, and now leads the Telehealth agenda within the Healthcare Group.
