Tracy Westall

Tracy is an experienced Executive & Non Executive Director, having operated in the Digital and Technology sector for over 30 years.  

With a background in Sales and Business Development, Tracy was responsible for establishing and running a successful Public Sector business to become a £350M operation over 15 years. With over 100 staff demonstrating a results driven track record.  She has also built and runs successful Software, AV and Secure Cloud business units.

Her most recent roles have included Director of Corporate Services responsible for Procurement, Marketing, Partner & Alliances, CSR, Support Services, day to day HR, L&D as well as Public Sector Policy, Strategy and Governance,

Her business experience underpinned her role as the Non Executive Director for Greater Birmingham & Solihull LEP responsible for Stimulating Innovation in the West Midlands, and demonstrated her ability as an experienced change agent and leader in the digital space. Combined with a passion for building and accelerating business growth as well as spotting opportunities and gaps, she was able to bring insight and strategic thinking on core topics.

Her ambitions for ensuring that the West Midlands seizes the opportunities that digital and technology present also influenced her decision to join the Smart City Commission, Birmingham Science City Board, and Birmingham Smart City Alliance and initiate the Digital Leaders West Midlands programme. She is a Governor at Birmingham City University and a Non Executive Director of Innovation Birmingham.
