Russell Haworth

Russell Haworth is CEO of Nominet, the technology company known for running the .UK internet infrastructure.  In addition to managing one of the world’s largest domain registries, Russell is leading Nominet’s development of registry services, cyber security, data visualization and Internet of Things technology.

Russell has held senior roles across four continents, covering both established and emerging markets, for Thomson Reuters – including the Americas, Asia and the Middle East. He has a strong P&L, operational, strategy and acquisitions background having completed and integrated over twenty M&A transactions.  

Before joining Reuters, Russell worked in London for Deloitte Corporate Finance. Russell also worked for PA Consulting Group as a strategy consultant.

Russell holds a First Class BSc Hons in Mechanical Engineering, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.  He is a charter member of the Institute of Marketing, and a member of the Young Presidents Organization (London Chapter). 

Russell is a keen observer of global internet trends and new technologies with the potential to transform how we work, interact and live.  In 2013 he was named as a leading executive by Forbes, with recognition for his achievements in the technology sector.
