Business Services Administration Assistant

Role Purpose

To assist the Business Services Department with all administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

1. To create and send html marketing emails

2. To carry out all necessary website administration tasks

3. To assist in the smooth running of all Services Department courses and events

4. To handle email and telephone enquiries

5. To assist the Head of Services and Executive with business development and sales opportunities

6. To maintain CRM records, calendars, services spreadsheets and carry out any data analysis tasks required

Competencies

Ability to acquaint self with systems and processes quickly and competently.

The ability to multi task is essential given the number of different services the department runs

Strong written and oral communication skills

A strong team player, committed to helping colleagues achieve their goals

Strong Personal and professional integrity

Ability to work quickly and accurately and work to deadlines

Ability to organise self and prioritise workload is essential

Essential knowledge & experience

- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office suite

- Capability to use other technologies which techUK uses such as CRM, Social Media, Web tools etc

- Office experience in a busy administrative role

- Experience of managing relationships between a diverse range of stakeholders

- Demonstrates a broad understanding of the technology industry and landscape and the positioning and role of trade bodies

Desired knowledge & experience

- Sales and Marketing experience

- Previous experience of html email creation and website administration
